What you'll achieve The Principal DevOps Engineer will be working closely with development, QA, and operations teams to contribute on our software development and deployment processes and ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software products. Here's what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 10+ years of related experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering role, Bachelor's degree, or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field DevOps & CI/CD Expertise : Strong in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, GitLab, or equivalent; pipeline optimization and automation; Cloud Platforms : Experience in hybrid/multi-cloud setups Containerization & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, KaaS platforms; Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, Helm Charts Artifact Management & Security : JFrog Artifactory, certificate governance, Okta-integrated service accounts, secure signing processes; Programming/Scripting : Proficiency in Python, Shell, Groovy, and Java (for tools integrations) Build Systems : Good knowledge of C/C++/.net/Java build environments, Visual Studio/MSBuild, and performance optimization techniques; Monitoring & Reliability : Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk; alerting and observability at scale Desirable Requirements CKA/CKAD (Kubernetes), Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Terraform Associate; experience with version control systems, experience in AI tools to optimize the development operations, experience with agile development methodologies Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments, maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations., knowledge of security and compliance standards Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
