Job description

• The Power BI Developer / Architect can design, develop, and implement data structures, dashboards, reports, and other data products that meet the organization’s objectives and requirements. • The Power BI Developer / Architect is familiar with a variety of database, applications, and analytic technologies, environments, concepts, methodologies, practices, and procedures. • Demonstrable, advanced experience with data profiling, data formatting, capture, search, retrieval, extraction, classification, quality analysis and information filtering techniques • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Power BI software and DAX for the creation, modification, and maintenance of data displays • Advanced expertise with using analytical software, including SAS statistical software and Microsoft Excel, for analytical and reporting purposes • Experience with data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting and data analysis methodologies • Experience with analyzing and translating business requirements and use cases into optimized models, data flows, and developing report solutions • Experience with and knowledge of relational databases, entity relationships, data warehousing, facts, dimensions, and star schema concepts and terminology • Strong proficiency with SQL Server, T-SQL, scripts, and complex queries. Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services • Experience with Azure DevOps and Agile / Scrum development methods • Demonstrable ability to communicate and document clearly and concisely • Ability to balance work between multiple projects and possess good organizational skills, with minimal or no direct supervision • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues as a member of a team • Ability to present complex technical concepts and data to a varied audience effectively. • More than 7 years of relevant experience Preferred Experience: Experience working in the public health or healthcare industry with various health data sets.
