Job Description NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to support a Federal Agency. This role is located 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX. Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance. Key Responsibilities • Provide expert guidance in business and financial solutions, supporting senior leadership in shaping strategic, operational, and tactical goals. • Implement and integrate systems for secure mobile device management, safeguarding data and improving access to critical resources for mobile users. • Provide strategic advice on governance frameworks and mobile device management, ensuring organizational data is secure and well-managed. • Support and optimize server and SAN configurations, troubleshooting complex issues and providing ongoing database support for performance improvement. • Maintain disaster recovery plans and restore data, while developing and implementing custom scripts to enhance server/SAN functions and virtual server design. • Install and configure software, patches, and security measures on servers/SANs, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity directives. • Assist leadership with strategic, operational, and tactical goals, ensuring the creation of clear documentation and effective management procedures. • Support server database management and optimize server/SAN configurations to resolve complex issues and improve performance. • Design, test, and integrate infrastructure platforms, ensuring smooth operation and support for Microsoft operating systems, servers, and SANs. Qualifications Required Qualifications and Certifications • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency. • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency. • Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance. • IAT II certification compliant with DoD 8570.01-M requirements. (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ **) • CE: Professional level certificate. • Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX.
