As a Federal Solutions Architect & Enablement Lead, you will be reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. This position will help support our partnerships within the federal sector. This role combines technical expertise with strategic partner enablement, ensuring our solutions align with partner needs while enhancing our offerings, driving business growth, and empowering our federal clients to achieve their missions. Key Responsibilities: Solutions: • Collaborate directly with Virtru partners to solve complex technical problems • Deliver interactive presentations and product demos. • Lead design and solutioning sessions with clients and their architecture teams and engineers • Whiteboard Virtru's solutions with customer architectures and produce documentation for prospects. • Assist in oversight and project management of client integration efforts. • Present verbal and written updates to all levels of the organization, from practitioner to C-level. • Engage with multiple business units including software engineering, operations, product management, and business stakeholders. • Maintain a broad and deep technical understanding of Virtru's Data Security Platform and the underlying technologies and protocols. • Understand Virtru's engineering strategy and business goals, and use this context to inform your work with customers. • Partner with technical trainers to identify and remediate gaps in technology, training, or materials. Enablement: • Work with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and solutions engineering, to develop partner-specific enablement plans. • Facilitate knowledge sharing and training, making recommendations on how best to use Virtru's platform. • Train and equip sales teams with technical insights, tools, and collateral to enhance client engagement. • Serve as the bridge between sales and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Requirements • 7+ years of experience in software development, solutions engineering, or a related role, with a focus on federal clients. • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, preferred with poly • Experience working in or supporting Federal Government customer environments. • Experience integrating software solutions with other business systems, for example: data warehousing, BI, CRM, ERP, or analytics platforms. • Experience deploying or managing enterprise software and custom application • Experience in technical consulting and conceptual solution design as well as an understanding of sales and business development processes. • Ability to decompose complicated technical concepts into manageable parts and effectively communicate those parts in a manner that is digestible for peers as well as management. • Self-starter and system-level thinker who proactively scans for and communicates problems with technology, investigates potential causes, and proposes solutions/next steps. • Strong presentation skills. • Project management skills, including experience working on matrixed teams. • Expert in building relationships, listening, and managing time. • A passion to serve the customer, which has played out in a prior customer-facing role like consulting or support, ideally sales engineering. • Experience developing in JavaScript, or Java, or Go • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker • Must be able to work onsite in Reston, Virginia Application: If you are an experienced engineer with a passion for driving excellence in data privacy and security, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity at Virtru.
