What You Drive at DTNA • Play a critical role in the development of a vision for public and private depot charging and refueling for future Daimler Truck zero emission vehicles. Act as the data expert for the Public Charging and eConsulting teams to support planning, technical solution development, and business decision-making. Lead the teams in applying modern analytics approaches to zero emission transformation problems while realizing return on investment for analytics activities. Develop and maintain deep expertise in DTNA data sources, processes, and tools, including engineering, sales, finance, macroeconomic as well as charger IoT and telematics datasets. Curate and maintain new data sources unique to zero emission vehicle (ZEV) customer needs. Lead the team in maintaining analytics documentation and requirements repositories. Design optimization algorithms for ZEV customers, and work with internal and external teams to implement new solutions and improve the customer experience. Use DTNA tools and datasets to generate strategic insights for Greenlane to support customer use case evaluation, network development plans, and business development. Identify site locations and recommend target customers to the sales teams at DTNA and Greenlane. Identify strong business opportunities for Daimler Truck in close collaboration with the internal engineering and strategy teams, and with a constant focus on product excellence. Run vehicle simulations to perform route analysis, and translate the insights to non-technical audiences. Knowledge You Should Bring • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. • 3 years of experience in Data Science and Analytics. • Must have experience with: SQL in SAP Hana, IBM DB2, and Azure Data Explorer; Python and Pyspark data analysis frameworks and libraries; Data visualization in Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, and Carto; extracting, loading, and transforming tasks in Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, and DBT; Infrastructure as code and source control via GitHub; and Vehicle telematics analysis, geospatial visualization, and data pipeline verification. #LI-DNI Where We Work This position is open to applicants who can work in (or relocate to) the following location(s)- Portland, OR US.
