Sr. IT Administrator with SAP B1 & SQL Experience Job Summary The Sr. IT Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting SQL development, SAP B1 administration, and overall IT operations across finance, sales, and manufacturing functions. This role encompasses application development using Python, HTML, and JavaScript; platform support for Shopify and HubSpot; and network administration, including wireless systems and enterprise routers (Meraki and CheckPoint). Additional responsibilities include Office 365 administration, workstation configuration, and ensuring a reliable, and secure IT infrastructure to support business continuity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities SAP B1 Administration • Troubleshoot and support SAP B1 modules: financials, manufacturing, and sales. • Manage open sales/purchase orders and resolve process issues in production and warehouse workflows. • Collaborate with Finance to address costing issues and support timely order completion. • Perform change management and unit testing for SAP B1 upgrades and add-ins. • Implement system improvements to maximize accuracy and process efficiency SQL and Crystal Reports Maintenance and Development • Create, edit, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries and reports. • Develop and maintain custom SQL logic to enhance SAP B1 functionality. • Perform database maintenance, backups, and performance tuning. • Design and support automation scripts and applications using Python. • Build and maintain internal web tools using HTML and JavaScript. E-commerce and CRM Platform Support • Support integration between SAP B1 and Shopify, ensuring data synchronization and e-commerce functionality. • Work with marketing and sales teams to manage workflows and reporting in HubSpot. • Enhance digital customer engagement and sales analytics through platform configurations. IT Support and Infrastructure • Set up and deploy workstations for new and existing employees. • Administer Office 365, managing user accounts, permissions, and email services. • Provide technical support in both office and manufacturing environments. • Ensure IT systems and devices are operational across the organization. • Offer after-hours and weekend support for critical manufacturing operations. Networking and Security • Manage and maintain local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure. • Support wireless network environments, ensuring stability and performance. • Administer and troubleshoot Meraki and CheckPoint routers/firewalls. • Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues proactively. • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated network issues. Project Management • Lead IT projects, including system implementations, migrations, and upgrades. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project goals. • Track and communicate project progress and ensure on-time delivery aligned with business needs. Qualifications and Requirements Education and Experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Finance. • 2–5 years of experience in Crystal Reports and SQL development and reporting. • 2+ years of experience in SAP B1 9.3 and v10 administration/support (preferred). • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python, HTML, and/or JavaScript. • Experience working with Shopify and HubSpot (preferred). • At least 2 years of IT project management experience. • Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure, wireless systems, and Meraki or CheckPoint routers. Technical Skills • Proficient in MS SQL Server and Crystal Reports. • Experienced in Office 365 administration. • Familiar with SAP B1 business processes, especially in manufacturing and costing. • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, routing, firewalls, and wireless configurations. • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile practices. Work Environment / Physical Demands • Minimal travel to other locations may be required. • Primarily office-based, with exposure to light dust and noise in some areas. • Frequent use of computers, phones, and general office equipment. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
