Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Information Security Architect to join their entirely remote security team. This critical role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust security architectures to protect sensitive data and critical systems. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive security strategies, policies, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in a wide range of security technologies, including network security, cloud security, identity and access management, encryption, and threat detection. You will collaborate virtually with IT operations, development teams, and business stakeholders to integrate security seamlessly into all aspects of the organization. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage secure enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and security solutions. Develop and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures. Conduct regular security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses. Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance protection. Lead the implementation of security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Develop and manage identity and access management (IAM) strategies. Design and oversee incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into system development lifecycles. Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees. Stay current with emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices. Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years in security architecture. Proven experience designing and implementing comprehensive security solutions. Deep understanding of network security, cloud security, cryptography, and IAM. Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration. Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly desirable. Ability to work independently and manage multiple security projects.
