Position Summary Join our Analytics & Innovation team as we strive to build reliable and reusable data products that connect our value chains and support our strategic initiatives. We are looking for a skilled and strategic IT Manager to lead the Data and Analytics Platforms Engineering team during this exciting and transformative time. Your role will focus on developing, managing, and delivering high-quality, reusable data products essential for enterprise analytics and decision-making. As the Data Platforms Manager, you will oversee the governance and continuous enhancement of data and analytics platforms critical to our business operations. Your expertise in modern cloud-based data platforms will be key in navigating the unique challenges and opportunities in data management. Key Responsibilities • Lead the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of data solutions on enterprise data and analytics platforms such as Azure Synapse, MS Purview, Power BI, Databricks, Cognite, etc. • Translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities that support advanced analytics, reporting, and AI/ML solutions. Collaborate with enterprise architects to innovate data integration patterns with source systems, middleware, and downstream applications. • Direct the design and implementation of RPA and Agentic AI solutions for business process automation, ensuring optimum performance and compliance with security standards. • Manage the cloud-based Data Operations and Contextualization platform to develop comprehensive use cases for business units, utilizing knowledge graph databases for real-time industrial data integration and analysis. • Oversee the deployment and monitoring of AI/ML models using established DevOps and MLOps practices. • Lead projects to seamlessly integrate AI/ML and RPA systems into business operations, developing project plans, and communicating updates to stakeholders. • Establish processes for monitoring, cost optimization, reliability, and incident management for data pipelines and analytics workloads while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory requirements. • Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and platform administrators while coaching internal teams on best practices. • Oversee daily operations of the IT team, offering guidance and support to ensure timely completion of tasks. • Align team objectives with the organization's vision, creating actionable plans at all levels. • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement through periods of change. • Work with key stakeholders to identify technology requirements and opportunities and collaborate with internal IT teams to craft effective solutions. • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of technology systems while implementing measures to protect sensitive data. • Plan and direct IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards are met, while managing the department's project portfolio. • Contribute to the development and management of the departmental budget, tracking expenses and resource allocation effectively. • Stay up-to-date on technology trends and industry advancements, recommending new technologies for operational efficiency. • Identify and assess technology needs, making recommendations for system improvements or changes, and continuously seeking optimization opportunities. • Collaborate with leadership to create robust business cases for technology initiatives. • Assist in establishing IT policies, procedures, and standards compliant with industry standards, ensuring compliance throughout. • Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of talent to align with business needs. Education and Experience • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field. • 10+ years of diverse IT experience. • 3+ years of experience leading professional teams.
