We are looking for an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer with a system admin background to help design, build, maintain and troubleshoot our rapidly expanding cloud infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team in Network Operations that demonstrates superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. The Cloud Systems Engineer will be responsible for supporting large scale deployment projects, securing our cloud and on-premise infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Acts as a subject-matter expert around Azure and AWS cloud platforms. • Perform Azure an AWS service development and design work that may include network infrastructure and security analysis. • Develop technical road-maps for future cloud and on-premise implementations. • Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to Automate Azure built using tools like Terraform and Bicep. • Ensure security is integrated into all network infrastructures. • Guide the work of System Engineers, Cloud Account Managers, Technical Consultants, and extended teams as these resources install, configure, test and maintain cloud services from AWS, Azure, management tools, security and infrastructure platforms. • Consult with clients to proactively ensure the highest level of infrastructure availability and security. • Monitor and test the infrastructure for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers and server administrators to implement those fixes. • Maintain security and redundancy strategies. • Maintain fluency and current knowledge of cloud and infrastructure security technologies, trends, services and popular third-party tools. • Provide 3rd level and higher support for AWS and Azure infrastructure.
