Job Description: As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will join a small, agile team responsible for managing and expanding the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. You will support the design, implementation, and operational excellence of cloud-based solutions with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and best practices. The role involves working with Bicep and PowerShell scripting executed through Azure DevOps pipelines to ensure scalable, repeatable, and auditable infrastructure deployments. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Bicep and PowerShell • Manage automated deployments using Azure DevOps pipelines and version-controlled repositories • Collaborate with internal teams to support the development and delivery of secure, scalable cloud solutions • Conduct log analysis and monitoring using Azure Monitor and KQL • Write and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and processes • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and deployment issues • Apply cloud governance standards related to security, networking, and cost optimization Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies: • General cloud experience in an operational or development role • Conceptual understanding of cloud concepts such as PaaS, serverless computing, and virtual networks • Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Perl, or Python • Software development experience in languages such as C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python • Experience with automated deployment tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines, ARM/Bicep, GitHub Actions, CloudFormation, or Terraform • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr.
