Azure Database Team Manager job at Insight Global. Greenwood Village, CO. Title: Azure Database Team Manager Duration: 6-18 month contract - will convert to full-time Location: Denver, CO - 5 days Onsite, no flexibility Pay Rate: $75-$85/hr Must be eligible to obtain EFTPS Clearance - EFTPS Clearance can only be obtained by US Citizens or Green Card Holders who have lived and worked in the United States for 3+ years. Required Skills & Experience • 8-10 years of Azure Cloud Experience • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience leading a technical team • Prior technical experience with Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos DB and Azure Databricks • Prior experience leading a migration from mainframe to Azure Cloud Platform • Strong experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework and SAFe • Understanding of Azure DevOps (ADO) and PowerBI Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Experience with IBM CDC Replication • Azure or Microsoft Certifications • Prior financial services or government project experience Job Description Insight Global is looking for Database Team Manager for a large financial client to support a growing team in government solutions. This team is currently working on a legacy on prem application migration to Azure Gov Cloud in support of Fiscal Service for the Federal Government. This manager will be leading a team of 7-10 DBAs focused on Azure SQl, Azure Databricks and Azure Cosmos DB. On a day to day basis the manager will engage with development teams for project timeline delivery. In addition, the will be interacting with internal senior management to develop technology strategy and implementation planned architectural. In addition, they will be working with external project stakeholders to understand desired technical outcomes and provide technical recommendations and solutions. This position is 5 days per week onsite in Greenwood Village, CO. This estimated pay range for this position is 75-85 dollars per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
