The Credit System Administration Manager will lead the Credit System Team and manage software systems for commercial loan processing. This role involves team leadership, system administration, vendor management, and ensuring effective use of credit systems.
The Credit System Administration Manager will be responsible for leading, managing and mentoring the Credit System Team. Additionally, this individual will be an administrator for software systems used by various credit administration departments for the processing of commercial loans. Supported processes and their related systems include, but are not limited to, commercial and SBA loan origination, commercial pricing and profitability, loan loss reserve analysis and construction loan administration. The Credit System Administration Manager facilitates the effective use of systems, by applying comprehensive knowledge to support, automate and improve the systems. They will also analyze the software to identify and propose solutions which may include opportunities to automate functions, streamline data interaction between systems and provide accurate, efficient and effective processes. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Supervision • Set a strong example for direct reports and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth. • Provide continuous coaching and mentorship, targeting growth and learning opportunities to develop skills of direct reports. • Align team goals with the company's mission and objectives, ensuring clarity in priorities and direction. • Proactively identify potential issues, facilitate open communication, and implement solutions that support team cohesion and overall effectiveness. System Administration • System Administration: Configure systems, manage user roles and security settings, and coordinate with IT on software interfaces. • System Analysis: Implement new functionality, monitor system accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and support third-party integrations. • Enhancement & Upgrade Management: Track vendor updates, manage support cases, and lead testing efforts for system enhancements. • Reports & Documentation: Document system interfaces, update forms and procedures, and create system monitoring reports as needed. • Business Support: Gather team requirements, create documentation (e.g., business requirements, use cases), and recommend process improvements. Vendor Management • Vendor Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with software vendors to ensure alignment with business needs and service expectations. • Contract Oversight: Review and manage software contracts, including licensing agreements, renewals, and compliance. • Performance Monitoring: Track vendor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and address any issues or gaps. • Issue Resolution: Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical problems, service disruptions, or product deficiencies. • Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure vendors meet regulatory and security requirements; monitor for potential risks. • Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and vendors for updates, support, and strategic planning. Divisional BellShare Administration • Site Management: Maintain site structure, navigation, and permissions to ensure usability and security. • Content Updates: Upload, organize, and manage documents, lists, and libraries to keep content current and relevant. • User Support: Provide assistance to users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper access and functionality. • Customization & Configuration: Configure web parts, workflows, and site features to meet business needs. • Monitoring & Maintenance: Regularly review site performance and compliance with organizational standards. Education, Experience, and Other Expectations • B.A. or B.S. related to Business or Information Technology or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of banking industry experience, preferably in commercial credit and/or system administration. • Experience with CreditQuest, Profit Stars, Banklabs, Abrigo and Salesforce applications preferred. Skills and Knowledge • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio & SQL Server Reporting Services preferred. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills. • Able to balance best practice methodologies and complex business requirements. • Detail oriented with outstanding analytical skills. • High aptitude and interest in working with business users to analyze processes and derive business requirements.
