Our Client is looking for a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 / Cloud System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft 365 and Azure to join our IT team. Responsibilities: • Manage and Support M365 Environment: Oversee Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other M365 applications. Be the go-to person to answer support questions for products like Office365, Forms, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams, Teams Premium, Loop, Power BI, Visio., etc. • Audit and Update M365 Applications: Conduct audits and implement updates based on IT SEC recommendations. • Monitor and Troubleshoot: Ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime for M365 applications. • Security Implementation: Enforce security best practices to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access. • Migration Planning and Execution: Plan and execute migrations to Azure and M365, coordinating with stakeholders for smooth transitions. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud-related matters for IT projects and initiatives. • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cloud computing trends and best practices, recommending improvements. • Training and Support: Offer training and support to end-users on Azure and M365 applications. • Azure Administration: Manage Azure services including Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Storage, and Networking. Qualifications: • Education and Certifications: Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience; relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Certified). • Experience: 5+ years in system administration, focusing on M365 and Azure Cloud. • M365 Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with M365 applications (e.g., Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams). • Azure Knowledge: Proficient in Azure services and architecture (e.g., Active Directory, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking). • Cloud Security: Strong understanding and implementation of cloud security principles and best practices. • PowerShell Proficiency: Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management. • Troubleshooting: Excellent skills in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues. • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. • Independence and Multitasking: Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
