Summary TechConnect is seeking an Azure Administrator for an industry leading client in Tulsa, OK. They ideal candidate will have a fairly broad skill set in network and systems administration with a focus on delivering best-of-class customer support and service. As an Azure Administrator you will be responsible for managing deploying, monitoring and patching on prim/cloud systems that include hardware, software, servers, and more. Some of your duties will include maintaining and monitoring a suite of tools for AV, backups, patching, FIM, log management, all while answering support calls and responding to tickets for internal users, and external customers. To be successful in this role you must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with internal team members while delivering exceptional support and customer service. You must possess strong organizational abilities and thrive in a collaborative team environment. You need strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with team members, internal users and customers. You will need to stay on top of the latest technology and industry trends to effectively support the organization. Responsibilities • Provision, configure, and monitor cloud resources (VM’s, storage, databases, networks, firewalls). • Implement and enforce security policies and best practices for cloud environments. • Provide quick and efficient execution of cloud projects while ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational objectives. • Continuous monitoring of various alerts pertaining to security and/or availability of services. • After hours email/phone monitoring to watch for alerts and issues, and respond within a reasonable timeframe. • Perform duties related to various compliance mandates (IE, PCI, SSAE-18, etc.). • Assist in the documentation of the network, applications, and resources on the network. Qualifications • 3 or more years of hands on experience in the technology industry. • Experience with WAN/LAN, Switches, routers, firewalls and other network infrastructure. • Experience in configuring and maintaining of applications such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, IIS, SQL, MySQL. • Experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and deployment including experience with Azure. • Proficient in Azure/cloud computing concepts and architectures, such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, hybrid cloud, VM deployment, etc. is highly desired. • Familiar with cloud services and features offered by Azure is highly desired. • Knowledgeable in cloud security principles and practices, such as encryption, authentication, authorization, firewall, VPN, etc. is highly desired. Work Environment • 100% onsite position. Company has a fair amount of flexibility. Position will require some weekend and evening work as needed. Position Type • Direct Hire.
