We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Systems Administrator to join our Enterprise Print team—a small, highly specialized group responsible for managing the full spectrum of enterprise print services. This role is crucial to the success of our organization, supporting critical print workflows across clinical, administrative, and operational environments. In this role, you'll manage a wide array of print devices and services—including thermal/label printers, barcode systems, laser printers, and multifunction devices—while maintaining the server infrastructure that supports these technologies. Ideal candidates will bring a blend of Windows server administration, print management experience, and enterprise infrastructure skills within complex environments such as healthcare, education, or large corporate systems. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain enterprise print solutions and supporting server infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. • Support and manage a wide range of printing technologies, including thermal, barcode, laser, and MFDs across various departments. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows and/or Linux servers supporting print systems. • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on the deployment, optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise print solutions. • Utilize tools such as Print Logic, LRS, or equivalent to monitor and maintain enterprise print environments. • Ensure all systems are secure, highly available, and aligned with organizational SLAs and compliance requirements. • Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance to support critical tier 1 print systems. • Engage in capacity planning and performance tuning efforts, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure as demand grows. • Employ basic scripting and automation to streamline repetitive tasks and improve service efficiency. • Maintain familiarity with backup solutions, performance monitoring, and cloud-native services that support infrastructure resilience. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field AND at least 3 years of infrastructure/server administration experience Technical Skills: • Strong experience with Windows Server environments • Familiarity with enterprise print management tools such as Print Logic, LRS, or equivalent • Experience working in large-scale print environments, ideally within healthcare, education, or other high-volume settings • Understanding of network printing, print queues, and driver management • Competency in basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) and server automation • Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or similar) and hybrid server environments • Working knowledge of backup, monitoring, and incident response processes
