About The Role As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Mad Mobile, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that powers our innovative retail and restaurant solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure as code, continuous delivery, networking and scalable systems. Your contributions will directly impact the performance, reliability, and scalability of our platform. Role will be located in Tampa, FL In This Role You Will Define best practices and standards for cloud infrastructure, security, and operations. Develop and implement infrastructure as code ( IaC ) using tools like Terraform, openTofu , ArgoCD and more . Create and manage a centralized development and production platform which empowers our developers to work faster and spend less time on toil and boiler plate code. Work with the latest technologies and continue to level up your skills. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align on requirements, deliverables, and timelines. We Are Looking For Someone Who Has Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code ( IaC ) practices and fluency with Terraform. Deep understanding of networking including service mesh technologies . A security centric mindset with experience managing the network edge . Familiarity with modern observability techniques, with an emphasis on Grafana’s LGTM stack . Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation including progressive delivery . Bonus points for ArgoCD production experience. Production experience with any public cloud kubernetes offering, including strong operational knowledge of the orchestrator and common practices for managing workloads. Proficiency with at least one high level programming language, such as python or JS . Golang proficiency a plus! A desire to help your developers work faster and solve tough problems. You may be a good fit if you have these additional skills and/or educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with distributed application patterns including microservice architectures.
