Information Assurance with Security Clearance DEFTEC delivers mission–critical solutions through skilled services and innovative products. Position Overview We seek professionals with experience, vision, commitment, and integrity to support the 502d Communications Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio. The 502d supports JBSA customers requiring access to SIPRNET and NIPRNET, performing maintenance, support, service desk, server administration, information assurance, security, project management, and requirements desk support. Job Responsibilities • Evaluate network accreditation packages and ensure modifications adhere to RMF processes. • Provide cross domain solution support to facilitate secure data transfers. • Validate requirements using Government AIS for network changes. • Monitor network incident response, reporting, and mitigation. • Manage network accounts and media control per AF and local procedures. • Audit compliance with security orders, assessments, and vulnerability scans. • Ensure classified systems meet TEMPEST requirements prior to installation. • Review network diagrams and documentation for accuracy and compliance. • Stay current with network security standards and meet DoD 8570.01M IA Workforce requirements. • Assist in developing the network Configuration Control Board process. • Manage port, protocol, and service security assessments and change processes. Qualifications • Top Secret/SCI clearance • IAM Level I qualification per DoD 8570.01–M • At least 4 years of experience in IA disciplines such as certification & accreditation, cross domain solutions, vulnerability tracking, incident response, and program management • Knowledge of real-time services, Microsoft OS, and network management tools DEFTEC offers comprehensive benefits.
