Azure IoT-Edge Data Architect and an Azure Data Engineer, Unique Roles Newly Created Roles with an Expanding Niche Industry Software Firm. Desired Skills/Experience: • Experience designing, building and supporting large scale data lakes/data warehouses with the use of Azure IoT Edge, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Blob Storage (Edge), Azure Machine Learning, Azure Digital Twins, Azure Monitor & Defender and/or Node-RED / MQTT • Experience with SQL Server datawarehouse design, layout and implementation • Experience working in a key Data Engineering Role: focused on ETL and/or being the key-point person for pushing-pulling very large amounts of data in and out of 'sometimes disparate' databases and other data sources. • Current hands-on experience with Python Coding for the purpose of scripting-automation (and getting stuff done) in and Azure-SQL Server Environment. • Experience using DataBricks within an Azure-SQL (SQL Server/Azure Data Factor7y) environment is preferred • Experience working in a similar role for an Enterprise Software Company or within the DataBase or DataWarehouse (or DataLake) division of an 'external-user' type company. Pluses: • Advanced Azure-Python Coding Skills for the purpose of creating Custom ETL's or for Customizing existing ETL's (ideally within a Python Azure-SQL Apache-Spark environment) • Azure-SQL formal training, self-study or certification • DataBricks formal training, self-study or certification • A College Degree in Computer Science is also a plus.
