Job Title: Cloud Solution Architect Location: Houston TX Duration: Contract/Full-time Position: Hybrid (3 days onsite & 2 days remote) PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • Cloud Solution Architect with at least 12-15 years of experience in coding and architecting enterprise applications in Energy & Utilities, Healthcare, Retail, Banking, Shipping and eCommerce domain. • Must have contributed to application migration, Lift and Shift Projects with exquisite knowledge on preparing design documents, current state and Target state documents for executing complex migrations • Ability to view the big picture and have implemented technical architectures that are modifiable, dependable and scalable by working with product managers, client technical architects, domain architects, business analyst, System Engineers and enterprise architects. • Ability to work with multiple technical teams, architects, security officers, managers and business users. • The ability to promptly create a template for collecting stakeholder information on on-premises architecture and to prepare the future state design and configuration documentation. • Designed architectures for laaS VMs, PaaS role instances and SaaS applications appropriate for the workloads (operating systems, applications, databases), transaction volumes, performance goals and security concerns. • Designed Azure based Hybrid cloud architecture and migrated lead management applications. Documented low level design, identified protocols and ports to be configured for remote desktop access. • Configuring and Managed Multi - factor Authentication (MFA) for Exchange and Skype for Business. • Implemented Confidential Azure AD Application Proxy for cloud directory in Azure AD. • Designed and implemented Disaster recovery and backup strategy using Azure BLOB storage for Big Data project considering RTO and RPO requirements. • Utilized NSGs for layer 4 Access Control List (ACLs) for incoming and outgoing packets. • Used firewall appliance where requirements call for layer 7 security models. • Created PowerShell scripts for automated login, securing data into Azure Key Vaults and dynamically setting appropriate permissions on Azure resources like Azure SQL, Data Lake Store for Hadoop. • Designed and implemented Disaster Recovery for 3-Tier architecture-based application comprising web server, application server and database server. • Implemented Big Data environment on Confidential Azure based on Hadoop using Apache Hive. HBase. • Reviewed workloads,system dependencies, business requirements and security requirements to optimize the Azure subscriptions, VNet design, NSGs, routing, deployment model and resource groups.
