Key Responsibilities • Analyze Data: Extract insights from complex datasets and interpret findings to support strategic decision-making. • Machine Learning Development: Design and implement a variety of machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning techniques. • Create Agentic Workflows: Develop agentic workflows to enable AI agents to automate tasks, enhancing efficiency and decision-making processes. • Implement RAG Patterns: Utilize retrieval-augmented generation methods to enhance the capabilities and outputs of language models. • Model Fine-Tuning: Adapt pre-trained models to specific tasks, ensuring relevance and peak performance across applications. • Data Preparation: Conduct thorough data cleaning and preprocessing to provide high-quality inputs for modeling efforts. • AI Model Deployment: Manage the deployment of AI models into production, including performance monitoring and necessary adjustments for accuracy. • Collaborative Projects: Work alongside software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to integrate AI solutions within existing frameworks. • Research & Development: Stay updated with advancements in AI and machine learning, applying these insights to enhance existing models and innovate new methodologies. • Documentation & Reporting: Create clear documentation of models and methodologies to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior data scientists, fostering growth and knowledge within the team. • Business Collaboration: Partner with business and technology teams to develop machine learning models that improve key metrics. • Present Analytical Findings: Effectively communicate complex analyses to diverse audiences, tailoring presentations to meet the needs of different stakeholders. • Adaptability: Be responsive to evolving business requirements and actively seek out technology-enabled solutions to improve operations. • Trend Analysis: Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to extract insights from industry trends for proactive decision-making. Qualifications Required Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. Required Experience/Skills: • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a data scientist, ideally in a healthcare setting, though applicants from other sectors are welcome. • Expertise in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). • Familiarity with relational databases and software development life cycle concepts. • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to navigate unstructured problems. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R, along with experience in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch. • Solid understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms. • Experience in designing agentic workflows using AI agents. • Knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation techniques and their application. • Proven ability to fine-tune models to ensure high performance standards. • Skilled in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for effective communication of insights. • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data warehousing and ETL processes. • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Education: Ph.D. in relevant field or equivalent experience. Preferred Experience: • Experience with cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure AI Studio for deploying AI workflows. • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
