Information about This Engagement: This is a hybrid contract role. W2 candidates are preferred; however, we are open to engaging subcontractors with local resources who are physically located in the Twin Cities Metro, MN and able to work onsite at our client’s location. Location: Minneapolis, South Metro - Hybrid; onsite 2–3 days per week Engagement Type: Contract About the Opportunity VALERE is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Engineer to join our Fortune 500, ecommerce Client, on a long-term contract position within their Productivity Tools Team. Our client’s Productivity Tools team is dedicated to facilitating effective communication and collaboration throughout the organization by leveraging productivity and collaboration solutions, including the Microsoft 365 suite. This team consists of engineers and specialists who contribute to the development, engineering, administration, and support of these essential capabilities. What You’ll Do • Develop and deploy enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, integrating with Microsoft services and external systems via APIs or custom connectors. • Administer, configure, integrate, and support the Microsoft 365 collaboration stack (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Office). • Create and maintain PowerShell scripts and Azure Automation processes to streamline operations and drive efficiency. • Utilize Graph API and SharePoint REST API for workflow automation and integration. • Prepare and maintain training materials, documentation, and standard operating procedures. • Provide third-level support and manage change control processes. • Stay current on new collaboration technologies and contribute to ongoing technical development. What You Bring • 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Power Platform. • 3+ years of Microsoft M365 engineering and support within SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Office. • 3+ years of experience in PowerShell scripting, Azure Automation, and Graph/REST API. • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction. • Experience with ITSM tools and processes (ServiceNow preferred). Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology. • Familiarity with enterprise architecture, governance, and CoE models. • Experience with Microsoft AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, 365 Copilot, and Copilot Studio. • Exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) in end-user computing. • Experience working in Agile environments. Pay Rate: This is a contract role with an hourly rate range of $38-45: Your specific rate will depend on your qualifications, education, certifications, location, and how well your experience aligns with the client's requirements.
