Our client, a rapidly growing technology firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Solutions Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join their team in Tampa, Florida, US . This role is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. You will work closely with engineering, development, and operations teams to architect robust cloud infrastructures that meet business requirements and drive innovation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, cloud migration strategies, and best practices for cloud-native application development. Key responsibilities include: Designing and implementing end-to-end cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. Architecting secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructures. Leading cloud migration efforts for existing applications and services. Developing strategies for containerization, microservices, and serverless computing on Azure. Collaborating with development teams to optimize applications for cloud environments. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to cloud engineers and operations staff. Ensuring compliance with security standards, data governance, and regulatory requirements. Evaluating and recommending new Azure services and technologies to enhance solutions. Developing and documenting cloud architecture designs, standards, and best practices. Troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues and implementing effective solutions. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Extensive experience (7+ years) in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, is required. Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) are highly desirable. Proven experience with Azure services like Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure networking is essential. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills are necessary. This hybrid role requires collaboration in our Tampa office.
