Seeking an experienced Network Administrator/Network Technician/Systems Integrator at the Subject Matter Expert (SME) level to support advanced air and missile defense systems training. This role is ideal for a former 140A (Air Defense Technician) or 14G (Air Defense Battle Management System Operator) with a strong background in network administration, sensor integration, and systems architecture. The SME will provide technical and managerial leadership in support of network administration, compliance, and training support. Key Responsibilities: • Works independently to manage training and test networks. • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on key systems including FAAD, AMDWS, and ADA airspace management, contributing to mission-critical training. • Able to serve as an Observer-Coach/Trainer for Radar Emplacement, Maintenance, and Integration. • Assists in developing realistic training scenarios, supports system architecture planning, and ensures all network systems are updated, integrated, and validated prior to field exercises. • Leads or contributes to RMF/CMMC compliance, secure communications implementation, and system hardening efforts. • Comprehensive development, implementation, and execution of contract support, ensuring strict compliance with all contractual requirements and government regulations. Minimum Qualifications: • Prior U.S. Army service as a 140A or 14G is required. • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network administration and systems integration, including at least 3 years at the SME or senior technical leadership level. • Proven experience with Air Defense C2 systems, including but not limited to FAAD, AMDWS, C-RAM, CUAS, and RAMWARN. • Strong knowledge of airspace management, tactical communications, and networks. • Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance, CMMC, and the RMF processes. • Ability to work independently while collaborating with military units, planners, and other stakeholders. • Excellent communication, mentorship, and documentation skills. • Strong understanding of SQL database operations a plus. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required). • Network and cybersecurity certifications desired: • CompTIA Security+ • Cisco CCNA or higher • Microsoft MCSA/MCSE
