Job Duties • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Uncover meaningful insights from complex datasets and translate data into strategic decisions. • Machine Learning Model Development: Design, develop, and train advanced machine learning models utilizing various algorithms and techniques. • Agentic Workflows Implementation: Create agentic workflows that use AI agents for automated task execution, enhancing operational efficiency. • RAG Pattern Utilization: Implement retrieval-augmented generation patterns to optimize language models for better external knowledge utilization. • Model Fine-Tuning: Adapt and fine-tune pre-trained models for specific tasks to ensure peak performance. • Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Ensure high-quality data inputs by cleaning, handling missing values, and removing outliers. • AI Model Deployment and Monitoring: Launch AI models in production, and monitor performance to sustain their accuracy. • Collaboration: Work alongside software engineers, product managers, and business analysts to effectively integrate AI solutions. • Research and Development: Stay abreast of the latest trends in AI and machine learning to advance our models and methodologies. • Documentation and Reporting: Create thorough documentation of methodologies and results, and present findings to non-technical stakeholders. • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior data scientists to foster skill development within the team. • Business Integration: Collaborate closely with business teams to build ML models that align with objectives such as improving Star ratings and reducing care gaps. • Communication: Present complex analytics clearly to all audiences, managing the delivery of analytical projects as needed. • Innovative Solutions: Identify opportunities for technology-enabled solutions and refer them to appropriate team members. Job Qualifications Required Education: Masters Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Required Experience/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • 6+ years of experience as a data scientist, preferably in a healthcare environment, although candidates from other industries will be considered. • Solid understanding of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). • Knowledge of relational databases and SDLC concepts. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize unstructured problems. • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and R, with experience in TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch. • Strong grasp of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms, including k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, and neural networks. • Experience with designing agentic workflows. • Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation techniques. • Proficient in fine-tuning models for specific tasks. • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). • Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes. • Strong problem-solving skills focused on innovative solutions. Preferred Education: PHD or additional experience. Preferred Experience: • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Azure AI Studio). • Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision techniques.
