Job Title: Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Functional Consultant Location: Carmel, Indiana, United States (Hybrid) We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Finance Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O with a strong background in finance and accounting processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, implement, and support financial modules, ensuring alignment with business goals and best practices. Key Responsibilities • Lead functional workshops and gather business requirements for financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Budgeting, Project Accounting, etc.). • Translate business needs into functional specifications and design documentation. • Configure and customize D365 F&O Finance modules to meet client requirements. • Collaborate with developers to ensure technical alignment and integration with other modules or external systems. • Support end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering to UAT and go-live. • Deliver training and user documentation for finance teams. • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvements. • Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and corporate accounting standards. • Assist with data migration, testing, and process optimization initiatives. Required Qualifications • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Dynamics 365 F&O or AX Finance Functional Consultant. • Strong knowledge of financial business processes and accounting principles. • Experience with at least one full-cycle D365 F&O implementation. • Proficiency in modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash & Bank Management. • Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (preferred). Preferred Skills • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). • Familiarity with integrations between D365 and other ERP or financial systems. • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, retail, or professional services. • Knowledge of project accounting and budgeting processes
