We are on the lookout for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our manufacturing team in the Augusta, Georgia area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of Microsoft Server Technologies, managing Virtual machines in VMWare, and maintaining our technical infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and control of our OT and Automation systems. Responsibilities: • Administer Microsoft Server Technologies ensuring optimal performance. • Manage and setup Virtual machines in VMWare to support various operational needs. • Troubleshoot Remote Access technologies to maintain connectivity. • Maintain Virtualization hosts, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning efficiently. • Configure and maintain Network Switches to facilitate smooth network operations. • Patch, support, and maintain IoT devices and industrial equipment necessary for our OT and Automation systems. • Monitor the technical infrastructure, providing direct support as needed. • Implement and monitor security controls in line with company policies and industry best practices. • Conduct daily security monitoring activities, escalating incidents as necessary. • Manage user access and permissions, ensuring the back-up of systems is regularly performed. • Collaborate closely with local IT, Operations, and Controls Engineers to ensure seamless IT operations. Skills: • Proficiency in Active Directory • Knowledge of Backup Technologies • Familiarity with Computer Hardware • Experience in Configuration Management • Experience in Deployments • Expertise in VMware • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in the Manufacturing industry • Proficient knowledge of Active Directory and its applications • Expertise in Backup Technologies and their implementation • Ability to manage and maintain Computer Hardware • Skills in Configuration Management, ensuring systems are running optimally • Experience in managing software and hardware Deployments • Proficiency in VMware and related virtualization technologies • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
