Purpose The Temporary Application Administrator is responsible for the correct operation and day-to-day administration of several firm-wide applications. This includes setting up new users, providing new user instruction, providing end user support, maintaining documentation, making configuration changes and performing upgrades. Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities • Provide day-to-day support for end user requests like new user setups, permission requests, or functionality questions • Work with vendors to install, upgrade and test applications and modules • Escalate complex service requests or issues to vendors • Participate in automation projects • Maintain documentation for internal IT use as well as end user use • Customize applications through the use of scripts, queries, reports, workflows, prompts, macros etc. • Develop checklists and controls to preempt issues and confirm correct operation Job Requirements • High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Windows, Microsoft Office • Law office, legal case management experience preferred • Foreclosure, Bankruptcy or Evictions experience preferred • Some scripting experience required • SQL experience • Basic HTML, report writing • Basic networking familiarity • Any Microsoft, networking, or security certification General Competency Factors • Must be proficient in software tools, including but not limited to Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet. • Curious about anything IT or automation related. • Must possess strong written and verbal communications skills. • Must provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers • Identifies and solves issues in a timely manner. • Must be a team player and willing to help others in their department whenever necessary. • Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task. • Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance. • Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action. • Demonstrates commitment to Firm’s vision, mission, and core values. • Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a fast pace and capable of multi-tasking. • Develops professional relationships and builds rapport with others. • Overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change.
