.NET Senior Software Engineer Burbank; CA (HYBRID - 4 Days/Week ONSITE) 12 Months Contract with possible extension Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced .NET Senior Software Engineer to join our team as a contractor for a greenfield application development project. This is a unique opportunity to architect and build a brand-new enterprise-grade application from the ground up. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in .NET technologies, strong architectural design capabilities, and a passion for clean, scalable code. This is an onsite role requiring regular presence at our Burbank, CA office. Candidates must hold a STEM degree from an accredited institution. • Lead the design and development of a new application using modern .NET technologies. • Define and implement software architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers. • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed. • Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, including CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps. • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack. Basic Qualifications • Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from an accredited institution. • 7+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on .NET technologies. • Proven experience in architecting and building enterprise-level applications from scratch. • Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development. • Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices. • Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, React, or Blazor is a plus. • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments. • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Prior experience in building applications with high security and compliance requirements. The estimated pay range for this position is USD $80.00/hr - USD $88.00/hr.
