Onsite role- no remote allowed Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Team Lead to manage onsite desktop upgrade initiatives across multiple locations. This role is responsible for leading a small team, coordinating upgrade plans, and ensuring smooth deployment of new technology across 100–200 desktops per site. Responsibilities • Lead and supervise a team of technicians performing onsite upgrades and system migrations. • Develop and refine project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow design. • Oversee imaging, device replacements, and troubleshooting during upgrade activities. • Manage tricky re-installs or escalations that arise during deployments. • Ensure consistent documentation and reporting of issues and resolutions. • Support pilot deployments and transition to broader rollouts. • Provide hands-on technical expertise when required. • Coordinate with local site contacts and IT leadership to minimize disruption to business operations. Required Skills & Experience • Strong background in desktop support and upgrade projects (100–200 endpoints per site). • Hands-on expertise with: • Windows 11 deployment and support • Autopilot / Active Directory (AD) • Intune • Microsoft 365 • Experience with device imaging and troubleshooting hardware/software upgrade issues. • Proven leadership experience managing small technical teams in the field. • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple sites.
