This position is with one of our clients in The USA, who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams. Role: SQL Developer/DBA with strong Azure Employment type: Contract Technology: Azure SQL Location: Dallas, TX(3 Days/week) Only for W2 Job Description- • DBA Engineers will be required to support database setups in an active-active configuration and optimize database performance. • Extensive knowledge of Stored Procedures. Ability to split SPs into two and migrating the changes from SQL MI to Azure SQL • Minimum of five years of experience in SQL Server performance tuning and optimization • Hands-on familiarity working through complex stored procedures and make necessary changes • At least five years of experience in logical and physical database modeling, designing database schema, stored procedures, triggers, and other database-related objects • Minimum of five years of progressive experience in developing, unit testing, and troubleshooting SQL Server, including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS (desirable) • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL/Stored Procedure/Function programming and design • Experience with Azure SQL MI and Azure SQL – migration from SQL MI to Azure SQL • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory • Make necessary changes to SSIS packages • Provide alternative options for cross-database calls Note: Applicants for employment in The USA should possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.
