We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Infrastructure and Cloud Hosting team. In this pivotal role, you will design and architect solutions on Azure that align with the business and technical requirements of our clients. Your collaboration with development and operations teams will be crucial for the seamless delivery and deployment of these solutions. You will also work closely with our transformation partners and contribute to our Cloud Center of Excellence by sharing insights and best practices with fellow cloud professionals. Responsibilities: • Design and architect cloud-native, scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions on Azure, using best practices and industry standards. • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers to grasp the client’s needs and convert them into technical specifications. • Guide and support development and operations teams on Azure services, tools, and frameworks. • Implement DevOps practices and tools to enhance and automate development, testing, and deployment processes. • Work with modern architectures, including containers, microservices, and serverless on Azure. • Utilize agile and scrum methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced setting. • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in cloud computing and Azure. • Contribute actively to the Cloud Center of Excellence by sharing insights, learnings, and best practices with peers. Basic Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and architecting solutions on Azure. • Strong proficiency in Azure services, including App Service, Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, SQL Database, Storage, Key Vault, etc. • Experience with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Jenkins, and Azure Pipelines. • Familiarity with containers and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS. • Knowledge of data formats like JSON and YAML. • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash. • Experience working within agile and scrum methodologies. • Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Preferred Requirements: • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Experience migrating workloads from on-premises to Azure. • Expertise in leading or mentoring teams of developers and architects. • Experience engaging with multiple clients across various domains and industries. • Exposure to hybrid or multi-cloud environments. • Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or other relevant certifications. In accordance with the Colorado EPEWA, the salary range for this role is $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 annually, depending on your skills, talent, capabilities, and experience.
