Summary: This role demands technical excellence, leadership insight, and a strong customer-first mindset. The candidate will be instrumental in translating business needs into robust, scalable solutions using the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, while mentoring other developers and championing Agile/SCRUM practices. Work location: Onsite (Mon-Fri on customer site in Washington DC) Clearance : Active Secret Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage mid-to-large scale software development projects from concept to deployment • Collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions align with business objectives • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, etc.) • Apply Agile/SCRUM methodologies to manage iterative development cycles and deliver high-quality software • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering growth and technical excellence • Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in software design and architecture • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and databases as needed Required Qualifications • BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline • Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in .NET development • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and related frameworks • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns • Deep experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies • Demonstrated ability to lead development efforts and manage junior team members • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer engagement • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices • U.S. Citizenship required to meet government contract requirements. • Ability to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
