Basic Function : The Senior Director of Business Services will lead our Business Services department. This role is responsible for driving non-dues revenue across THAs family of companies by planning, developing, directing, and executing strategies for building and maintaining business service lines that drive non-dues revenue across THAs family of companies. You will lead a team of two and work collaboratively with the VP Member Solutions and senior leadership to ensure that the Business Services team leads the direction and overall management of THA corporate business relationships to include business development, delivery of services, long and short-range planning, and business service line life-cycle management. Establish and grow strategic relationships with industry businesses and vendors who supply goods and services aligned with the needs of THA members. Responsibilities: -Provide operational leadership of Business Service Lines and facilitate collaboration with THA Family of Companies (FOC) and affiliates. Provide support and guidance for the integration of programs, products and services designed to meet THAs strategic objectives and provide member value. -Support integration of programs, products, and services that align with THAs strategic objectives and create value for members. -Reporting to VP Member Solutions, develops and implements business service lines that support the THA strategic plan elements related to non-dues revenue for THA FOC. -Identify opportunities for new business service lines and manage the full lifecycle from concept through execution and evaluation. -Develop, recommend, and operate within an approved annual budget. -Monitor and ensure financial performance of all business service lines, aligning with member needs and organizational goals. -Support FOC business unit revenue goals and strategies that are focused on funding member educational and communication activities. This is accomplished by effectively leading organizational performance that will meet event financial goals. -Build and maintain strong, long-term corporate partnerships and vendor relationships. -Serve as the primary contact for all corporate inquiries related to partnership, sponsorship, exhibit, endorsement, and sales opportunities. -Attend board meetings and ensure board members are kept fully informed. Responsible for Association board and committees and reports as assigned or required. Qualifications: Bachelors degree required; equivalent knowledge to a masters degree preferred (fields: business, communications, psychology, etc.). Minimum 10 years of demonstrated success in business development, sales, or client relationship management. At least 5 years experience working with associations, nonprofits, or healthcare organizations. Strong understanding of the Texas healthcare landscape. Proven leadership, team management, and strategic development experience. Valid Texas Drivers License and proof of insurance required if driving for THA business. Skills and Abilities: Strong relationship building, networking skills, client management, and strategic negotiation. Effective communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. High attention to detail with a results-oriented approach. Strategic thinker with the ability to align vision with execution. Strong planning, budgeting, and project management capabilities. Analytical skills for assessing market trends and identifying emerging opportunities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; working knowledge of association databases preferred.
