Overview: Dataflix is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in modernizing our data infrastructure, driving data strategy, and enabling advanced analytics and AI capabilities. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud data architecture, big data technologies, and data governance frameworks. Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Microsoft Azure. • Lead data strategy development, including cloud migration, modernization, and integration initiatives. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements. • Build and maintain data models, data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines using Azure services such as: Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen2), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database / Azure Cosmos DB. • Ensure data solutions adhere to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance. • Guide and mentor data engineers and developers on cloud-native design patterns and best practices. • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for data architecture improvements. • Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Requirements: • Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, with 5+ years specifically in Azure cloud data services. • Strong experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data integration patterns. • Proficient with Azure services such as Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, and Logic Apps. • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, Scala, or Spark. • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD for data solutions using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions. • Experience with data governance tools and frameworks (e.g., Purview, GDPR, HIPAA compliance). • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Background in analytics, machine learning, or AI integration is a plus.
