Project Overview We are looking for an experienced developer/consultant to integrate a client’s Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) with our web application. The goal is to securely pull and sync user attributes (employment status, email, name, and sanctioned apps list if available) into our platform. What We Need Setup and configure integration between our web app and client’s Microsoft Entra ID / Active Directory. Retrieve and sync the following user attributes: Name Email / UPN Employment status (active vs. inactive / disabled accounts; employee type if available) Ensure secure authentication and authorization flow (OAuth2 / OpenID Connect preferred). Provide documentation and walkthrough for our team to maintain the integration. Requirements Proven experience with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory integrations. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Graph API. Experience with SSO (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC) and identity federation. Familiarity with Active Directory on-prem + Entra ID hybrid setups is a plus. Ability to clearly document setup, code, and configuration steps. Deliverables Working integration that securely pulls user attributes into our web app. Configuration documentation (for client IT teams and our internal devs). Testing and validation with a small pilot group of users. Nice-to-Have Experience with Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) to expose sanctioned vs. unsanctioned app data. Prior work with HRIS → Entra ID provisioning (to enrich employee data). Budget & Timeline Open to proposals — please include your hourly rate or fixed project fee. Expected delivery: 2–4 weeks.
