Job Summary: The Lead Analyst Power Apps and Automate will support and optimize Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate solutions. This role requires advanced expertise in Microsoft Power Platform technologies to enhance business processes, improve operational efficiency, and provide ongoing technical support. The position involves 70% hands-on technical analysis and 30% leadership and supervisory responsibilities, guiding and mentoring a team of analysts. The successful candidate will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align solutions with organizational goals. Location: Washington, District of Columbia, Virginia, United States Responsibilities: - Develop, enhance, and maintain Power Apps solutions to improve workflow automation and efficiency. - Design, implement, and support Power Automate processes, integrating automation solutions with business operations. - Provide technical support, including managing and resolving support tickets related to Power Apps and Automate. - Assist in building tier 1 applications and contribute to tier 2 app development using premium connectors. - Analyze system performance and optimize applications for scalability and security. - Create and maintain Power BI dashboards to track automation effectiveness. - Act as the lead analyst, guiding and mentoring a team of analysts working on Power Apps and Automate solutions. - Ensure best practices in Power Platform development and optimization are followed across the analyst team. - Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with organizational goals. - Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the team's Power Platform capabilities. - Present insights, recommendations, and progress updates to leadership. - Work with business units to assess complex business functions and processes. - Negotiate, mediate, settle disputes equitably, and handle difficult situations diplomatically. - Engineering business process improvement resulting in streamlined and effective processes with a mind towards automated solutions. - Leading, delegating, motivating, and obtaining desired results. Required Skills & Certifications: - 7+ years in business/application analysis, automation solutions, or Power Platform development. - Proven expertise in Power Apps and Power Automate, including enterprise-scale deployment and optimization. - Extensive experience supporting and enhancing low-code/no-code applications in complex environments. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Canvas App, Power BI, and Azure integrations. - Strong knowledge of application lifecycle management, low-code development, and cloud technologies. - Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools for Microsoft Power Platform solutions. - Ability to lead, mentor, and support a team of analysts while maintaining a hands-on technical approach. - Expertise in translating technical capabilities into actionable business strategies. - Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, or related technologies. Special Considerations: - Requires 3 days a week onsite. - Contractor will be responsible for their own parking. - Commonwealth of Virginia security policies prohibit the use of offshore IT contractors; candidate must physically reside within the US for the duration of the assignment.
