Job Title: Level II/III Support Engineer – Microsoft 365 / Intune / Okta Location: Onsite – Tulsa, OK Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Overview: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Level II/III Support Engineer to join their onsite IT team in Tulsa, OK. This is a hands-on, technical role that requires strong troubleshooting capabilities and exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and related enterprise tools such as Intune, Okta, Defender, and Purview. You’ll be supporting a broad range of technologies, resource for escalated issues, and working directly with users and internal IT leadership. A “jack of all trades” mindset. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary onsite escalation point for technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting for desktops, networks, and enterprise apps. • Configure, deploy, and manage devices using Microsoft Intune (including Autopilot, device compliance, and security policies). • Administer Okta SSO for identity and access management across integrated applications. • Support Microsoft Defender and Purview tools, including threat management and compliance workflows. • Assist with or lead Microsoft Exchange migrations (e.g., Exchange → Office 365), understanding and explaining the tools. • Maintain and support Azure Active Directory, SharePoint Online, Teams, and other M365 services. • Document solutions, maintain internal knowledgebase, and follow standard operating procedures. • Deliver outstanding customer support in a professional, responsive, and articulate manner. Required Qualifications: • 4+ years of experience in a Level II or III support or systems engineering role. • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, Teams, Azure AD, and Purview. • Experience with Okta or other identity management platforms. • Experience with Python • Ability to explain technical decisions, tools, and migration strategies (e.g., for Exchange) during interviews and peer discussions • Excellent communication skills and proven success in customer-facing environments. • Comfortable rating themselves at least 7/10 or higher in core technologies such as Intune, Okta, and Defender. • Ability to work 100% onsite in Tulsa, OK – no remote/hybrid option available. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in Exchange migration tools (e.g., PowerShell, MigrationWiz, hybrid configurations). • Microsoft certifications (M365, Security, Endpoint Management, etc.) • Okta Certified Administrator or equivalent identity management experience. Musts: Intune, Okta, Defender, and Purview, and clearly explain how they handled past Exchange or M365 migrations, including what tools and steps were used.
