Job Description: A large healthcare system is looking for a Epic Client System Administrator The Epic Client System Administrator will manage system configurations, control user access, and provide technical support to end-users. Collaborating closely with both clinical and administrative personnel, this individual will help facilitate system improvements and quickly resolve any technical challenges. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Epic applications and be well-versed in best practices for system administration. This role demands not only technical skills but also effective communication with various stakeholders to ensure their needs are met while upholding system integrity. As a member of our committed team, the Epic Client System Administrator will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes by utilizing technology to support clinical workflows. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. • 3+ Years of experience in Epic system administration • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues associated with Epic systems is required. • Experience in user access management and adherence to security protocols in a healthcare environment is essential. • Experience in the management of hardware and operating systems for database servers is expected. • Knowledge of managing storage areas and networks is required. • A full understanding of infrastructure management, including Active Directory, Group Policies, Hypervisor platforms, remote application deployment, and incident management, is needed. • Technical proficiency in both wired and wireless networking concepts, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, Ethernet/802.3, and Wireless/802.11, is required. • Familiarity with operating system internals, file systems, and the functionality of hardware components, as well as an understanding of how hardware and software interact to form a cohesive computer system, is necessary. • Familiarity with scripting and programming languages is advantageous. • An extensive understanding of the complete Microsoft 365 Suite is required.
