FedTec is seeking .NET Architect Location: 100 Waterfront Place, West Sacramento, CA 95605 Job Overview: Fedtec is seeking an experienced Senior C# .NET Engineer to support the development and maintenance of complex, enterprise-scale applications within a multi-tier Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET WebForms, MVC, WCF, and RESTful web services, with the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers. This role is responsible for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, architecture design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation. The candidate will collaborate closely with business users, analysts, architects, and mainframe developers to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise standards and best practices. Required Skills & Education: • At least ten (10) years of experience, within the last ten (10) years performing design, development, and implementation of distributed, enterprise scalable Microsoft .NET web applications and Microsoft WCF services running on Windows servers using Microsoft C#.NET in support of a large-scale Pension, Financial, or similar type of organization • At least ten (10) years of experience incorporating an industry’s open and non-proprietary Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology and following all applicable enterprise IT standards, policies, processes, procedures, and best practices, etc • At least ten (10) years of experience participating in testing, developing strategies and associated policies and best practices to promote data security, integrity, quality, governance and consistency. • At least ten (10) years of experience as an Application Architect, with proficiency in common design patterns (e.g. repository, factory), and designing and implementing highly available and fault tolerant application • At least five (5) years of experience in Agile Methodology like SCRUM. Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and ability to lead technical discussions, make architectural discissions and advocate for best practices Desirable Skills • Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams. • Knowledge of the .NET Core framework and related technologies. • Experience with Agile development methodologies. • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL. • Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
