In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decisions across a high-impact product portfolio used by millions of users worldwide. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to surface insights that influence strategy and growth. Responsibilities: Analyze and synthesize financial, product usage, and customer data to identify growth opportunities across a portfolio of cloud and developer-focused tools. Design and build Power BI dashboards to surface insights across technical and business stakeholders. Maintain and evolve key metrics related to customer acquisition, engagement, churn, and financial health. Apply statistical techniques to derive insights, investigate anomalies, and support strategic decision-making. Develop SQL and Kusto (Azure Data Explorer) queries and build data pipelines to streamline reporting and analytics. Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to define and execute analytical projects. Communicate findings clearly and effectively through presentations, visualizations, and written reports. Adhere to best practices in data privacy and handling of sensitive data, including PII and financial metrics. Contribute to the team’s data science function through the development of scalable tools, processes, and documentation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field AND 6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related rolesOR Master’s degree in a related field AND 4+ years of relevant experience Proficient in Python for data analysis (minimum 8 years experience expected) Proficient in Git/GitHub and Azure DevOps for version control and collaboration (minimum 6 years experience) Strong experience with Power BI (minimum 3 years) Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data querying Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical insights Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences Strong statistical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years experience in data analysis or data science roles Experience working with Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) Background in SaaS, cloud platforms, or developer tools Experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities into analytical solutions Familiarity with customer lifecycle metrics (acquisition, engagement, retention) Knowledge of data security standards and compliance related to financial or personally identifiable information Salary Range Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $130,000 - $145,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $137,500.
