Lorven Technologies is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineering Professional to join our team. As a key member of our Data Strategy group, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of our data platform on Azure Cloud Platform. Job Description: The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in software development using Python, PySpark, and its frameworks, with proven expertise as a Data Engineer in Azure cloud. We are looking for someone who can implement solutions using Azure cloud services, Azure Data Factory, Azure Lake Gen 2, Azure Databases, Azure Data Fabric, API Gateway management, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement scalable and efficient data processing systems using Azure cloud services. • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data platforms with existing systems. • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and stakeholders. Requirements: • 10+ years of experience in software development using Python, PySpark, and its frameworks. • Proven experience as a Data Engineer in Azure cloud. • Strong SQL skills with RDMS or noSQL databases. • Familiarity with the DevOps lifecycle (git, Jenkins, etc.), CI/CD processes. • Experience in financial services industry, financial instruments, asset classes, and market data are a plus. Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year.
