Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future ManTech is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to support our Marine Corps Intelligence Activity contract on MCB Quantico. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage all aspects of all classes of GFE servers and supporting equipment, including all hardware and software systems and tools used to monitor, maintain, optimize, and report on environment health and status Support all servers and other hardware running mission applications and services, all physical and logical (virtualized) servers and appliances, and all supporting equipment tools and system software (e.g., operating systems, virtualization software, authentication software, utilities, schedulers) Installs, configures, troubleshoots, and maintains server and systems configurations (hardware and software) to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability Administers server-based systems, security devices, distributed applications, network storage, messaging, and performs systems monitoring Consults on network, application, and customer service issues to support computer systems' security and sustainability for the following solutions and capabilities: Virtual Desktop Infrastructure for unclassified and multiple classified networks, Active Directory, End Point Security Solutions (EPSS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Servers, virtual machines, and virtual servers, Cloud servers and containers Manage server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability Monitor and maintain server configuration Diagnose faulty server hardware Perform repairs on faulty server hardware Install, update, and troubleshoot servers Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years' experience. 8 years' experience without degree. This position requires an active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain a SAP Clearance and may require a CI Poly Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security CE or equivalent) Must be proficient in current DoD policies and strategy related to IT systems Must have required experience in Window systems and servers in secure environments Knowledge of systems development lifecycle, systems engineering principles, network/systems design and implementation, DoD 5000, and virtualization Excellent written and oral communication skill Experience using SharePoint, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Project Familiarity with Active Directory/DNS/Group Policy Must patch and implement security controls in response to IAVAs and OPDIRs on respective Microsoft Windows server and workstation systems Respond to, incidents, change requests, and service requests making sure to follow up with the customer to ensure completion Working knowledge of network, hardware, and application virtualization Basic understanding of Networking (IP Addresses and Classifications) Preferred Qualifications: Scripting experience (PowerShell, JavaScript, python, etc.) Experience with Virtual Desktop Solutions Experience using Solarwinds Experience using HyperV Knowledge of CMMI, ISO 9000 and/or AGILE Prior military information technology or intelligence experience a plus Working knowledge of DoD STIGs related to the applicable technologies and how to implement, mitigate, and write POAM statements Clearance Requirements : This role requires an active DoD TS/SCI clearance Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
