This is for a hybrid contract position. Candidates must be Ohio residents and may be required to report on-site occasionally. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting enterprise systems and applications with a focus on Microsoft and IBM technologies. This includes system monitoring, server administration, software installations, user management, performance tuning, and issue resolution. A deep understanding of IIS, IBM Content Manager, Captiva, and Accellion/Kiteworks is critical. Job Description: We are hiring an experienced Systems Administrator to work for us as our direct, W2 salaried or hourly employee to join our team. You will: • Perform one-off deployments to IIS and related systems. • Conduct daily system and server monitoring to verify availability, integrity, and performance. • Ensure successful execution and verification of daily backups and archival processes. • Create, manage, and remove user accounts as needed. • Diagnose and resolve hardware or software failures, ensuring timely recovery. • Install, configure, and rebuild servers and associated system components. • Maintain up-to-date documentation of installation, configuration procedures, and system standards. • Apply OS patches and upgrades, and manage new service implementations. • Configure and maintain hardware, services, and applications per project or operational needs. • Conduct periodic performance reviews and tuning to support optimization and capacity planning. Required Skills and Experience: • Must be a current resident of Ohio • Must be available for hybrid work, including occasional on-site in Columbus, Ohio • Must have a secure and reliable remote work setup • 7+ years of experience with: • Microsoft Active Directory • Microsoft Exchange Server • Internet Information Services (IIS) • IBM Content Manager • IBM Captiva • Accellion/Kiteworks • Performing one-off deployments to IIS and related systems • Daily system and server monitoring, ensuring hardware, server resources, and system processors are functional • Installing and rebuilding servers • Installing and configuring infrastructure-supporting systems and applications • Applying system patches, upgrades, and managing new service configurations • Configuring, upgrading, and maintaining system software and operational support procedures US Citizens and those authorized to work in the US are encouraged to apply.
