Job Title: Azure Data Engineer Location: Durham, NC (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team in Durham, NC. This hybrid role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and robust Azure-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake, with hands-on experience developing both real-time and batch data pipelines. Responsibilities: • Design and build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using Azure cloud technologies. • Develop high-performance data ingestion pipelines from structured and unstructured sources with Azure Databricks. • Lead the design, development, and deployment of ETL, data integration, and migration solutions. • Create reusable frameworks for ingestion, processing, and transformation of datasets. • Collaborate with data architects, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade data platforms. • Ensure high data quality, reliability, and consistency across end-to-end pipelines. • Work with event-driven and streaming technologies for real-time processing. • Support related components such as API integrations and search services. • Evaluate tools and platforms to meet performance and business requirements.
