Job Description Overview: Our client is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Lead Backend .NET Engineer to join their Core Technology team during a pivotal growth phase. You'll function as a technical quarterback, driving execution while bringing clarity, structure, and innovation to a high-performing backend team. Job Details: Serve as the technical lead for core backend services and infrastructure Build and maintain secure, scalable .NET APIs powering an AI-driven platfor Own architectural decisions related to performance, security, uptime, and observability Drive excellence in deployment pipelines, system reliability, and backend innovation Work closely with engineers, product managers, and machine learning leads to ship features Oversee testing strategy, code quality, system latency, and edge case resolution Take ownership of authentication, infrastructure design, and data protection practices Participate in active coding - this is a hands-on role, not just oversight Be the "go-to" engineer your team turns to for direction, best practices, and quality control Requirements: 3-7+ years in backend engineering, with expert-level experience in .NET Core and C# Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, distributed systems, and Azure cloud services Strong systems thinking - able to anticipate and address performance, scalability, and security concerns Proven experience in CI/CD, observability, testing, and infrastructure reliability Experience or strong interest in health tech, EHR integrations, or regulated environments (HIPAA) Exceptional communication and technical leadership skills Previous experience mentoring developers or serving as a team's go-to technical leader Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week) in-office in the Atlanta metro area About SOLTECH SOLTECH is a leading national technology company based in Atlanta.
