Our client is searching for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to bolster their cloud automation capabilities in **Boise, Idaho, US**. This hybrid role is crucial for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployment, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of cloud-native applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, enhance system performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Responsibilities include managing cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and implementing monitoring and logging solutions. You will also be involved in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), scripting (e.g., Python, Bash), and security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, automation tools, and modern software development practices. Proven experience in building and managing highly available and scalable systems is essential. This role demands strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to effectively partner with cross-functional teams. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. A minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or system administration, with a strong focus on cloud platforms and automation, is mandatory. Experience with a wide range of DevOps tools, including CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible), and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), is highly desirable.
