Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with proficiency in various analytical tools and programming languages. This role requires an individual who can effectively translate complex data into actionable insights, support decision-making processes, and contribute to the overall success of our projects. Responsibilities • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define project requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. • Design and implement ETL processes to ensure data integrity and availability for analysis. • Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for advanced data manipulation and statistical analysis. • Conduct business analysis to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications. • Manage database design and optimization using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or other database management systems. • Create documentation for data processes, including Visio diagrams for workflow representation. • Support the software development lifecycle (SDLC) by participating in project management activities. • Utilize additional tools such as VBA and Bash (Unix shell) for automation of reporting tasks. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong focus on analytics. • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and performing data analysis. • Familiarity with Talend or other ETL tools is preferred. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets effectively. • Experience with linked data concepts is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills to present findings clearly to stakeholders. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. • A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
