Job Title: IT Systems Administrator Location: Hybrid preferred Employment Type: Full-Time, exempt, salaried role Reports to: IT Sr. System Engineer --- Job Overview: We are seeking an IT System Administrator with expertise in Windows Server environments, basic SQL Server (MSSQL) administration, Intune, Autopilot, Defender, Sentinel, and experience managing Certificate Authority (PKI). They will be responsible for maintaining server infrastructure, managing certificates, and ensuring secure and efficient IT operations. The position also includes participation in an on-call rotation with other system administrators and after-hours support. Key Responsibilities: · Windows Server Management: Install, configure, and manage Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. · MSSQL Administration: Basic administration of SQL Server, including backups, monitoring, and performance tuning. · Microsoft Intune & Autopilot: Configure and manage device deployment and management using Intune and Autopilot. · Certificate Authority (PKI) Management: Manage Certificate Authority services for secure network communications. · Technical Support: Provide support for Windows-based systems and software. · Security: Ensure secure network environments through patch management, firewalls, event monitoring and other security protocols. Respond to incidents and secure employee devices and accounts. · Backup & Recovery: Ensure system backups and disaster recovery solutions are reliable. · System Monitoring: Monitor and optimize server and endpoint performance. · Automation: Use PowerShell and other tools to automate routine tasks. · Documentation: Maintain up-to-date system configurations, procedures, and licensing records. · On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation with other system administrators to provide after-hours support as needed. --- Qualifications: Experience: . 3+ years managing Windows Server environments. . 1+ years experience with Information Security such as SIEM/XDR Skills: . Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022). . Experience with MSSQL administration. . Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. . Experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. . Experience managing Certificate Authority (PKI) services. . Familiarity with PowerShell scripting. . Familiarity with Microsoft Security tools like Defender and Sentinel. · Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
