Purpose: Support Lauren Concrete by providing data-driven insights and process improvement. Actively promotes a work environment within the IT Department that consistently delivers a “World Class Experience” to all employees and vendors. Essential Functions • Generate accurate, timely, and actionable business intelligence. • Prepare and distribute reports (daily, monthly, annually, ad hoc). • Extract, transform, and load data to and from various systems for reporting and operational uses. • Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies. • Communicate findings to stakeholders. • Facilitate implementation of new business processes. Job-Specific Functions • Use PowerBI or similar tools to collect data and generate reports. • User PowerAutomate or similar tools for business process automation. • Retrieve data from MS SQL Server and various APIs • Maintain and improve existing data automation processes through ETL platforms such as Hitachi Pentaho and Azure Data Factory • Document processes and reporting strategy and effectively communicate with end users. Other Functions • Foster a supportive role towards Lauren Concrete’s mission statement and core values. • Support a positive and productive work environment and demonstrate a positive example for others. • Performs all other related duties, as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge • A strong foundation in the use of business intelligence tools. • Strong foundations of data analysis and data-driven decision making. Skills • PowerBI, MS Excel, Transact-SQL queries. • Manual Dexterity: Ability to operate a laptop or desktop computer. • Physical Mobility: Ability to work in an office environment. Ability • Represent Lauren Concrete in a professional manner in a variety of settings and circumstances • Understand complex functions, procedures, and processes • Express oneself clearly and concisely • Accept responsibility for quality and accuracy of personal work • Strong attention to detail and effective interpersonal skills • Must be able to multi-task in a high stress, fast paced environment • Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision Education/Experience • Four-year undergraduate degree in a related field such as data science, business administration, or statistical analysis. • At least one year of experience with business intelligence tools. • At least one year of experience with SQL queries. • Relevant coursework may be substituted for experience • Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
