Key Responsibilities • Maintain and refine a production-grade WinForms application built on .NET Framework 4.8. • Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability in coordination with AWS-hosted SQL environments and supporting cloud services. • Ensure secure data handling aligned with GDPR standards and implement modern authentication frameworks (e.g., OAuth2, SAML). • Contribute to the design and rollout of a strategic migration from a legacy desktop platform to a future web-based solution. • Support the design of a CI/CD pipeline to increase deployment efficiency and testing rigor. • Collaborate on experimental product enhancements and A/B testing initiatives to inform UX simplification. • Identify and implement modular code patterns for functionality reuse across multiple user personas. • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support the development of complex data-driven and mathematical features. • Utilize AI-enhanced tooling where applicable to accelerate quality software delivery. Required Qualifications • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in software engineering with a focus on C# and .NET Framework development. • Strong hands-on experience developing WinForms applications in Visual Studio. • Proficient in SQL Server performance tuning and schema design, particularly in AWS-based deployments. • Familiarity with compliance standards (GDPR) and security best practices in software development environments. • Experience integrating modern authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML. • Skilled in designing scalable and maintainable software systems with long-term roadmaps and migration considerations. • Exposure to CI/CD practices; experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar is preferred. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear graphical output. • Comfortable working in an iterative development environment with quarterly releases and regular patching cycles. • Effective communicator with the ability to interface with technical leads, product owners, and business users.
